capri-sun

capri-sun

capri-sun is produced by jean paul, a fourth-generation coffee farmer who has dedicated his life to cultivating exceptional coffee in his region. at liza washing station, he oversees every step of production with precision and care, continuously refining quality standards.

the cherries are grown by farmers between 1,550 and 1,900 meters above sea level. upon arrival, the cherries are floated to remove defects before being sealed in airtight drums and rested for 48 hours in a cool, shaded environment. the coffee is then slowly sun-dried for 48 days, with the cherries turned every hour to ensure an even and consistent drying process. this results in a cup full of tropical fruit that’s high in sweetness, juicy and a bit funky.

beyond quality, jean paul is deeply committed to the community around him. he works closely with farmers through training and support programs, while also creating opportunities for young people in the area. the result is a coffee shaped not only by careful processing and terroir, but by a long-term vision for sustainability, quality and community.
